If you grew up in the 90s, chances are you had a Polly Pocket.
I certainly did.
Those tiny little compacts that somehow contained an entire holiday resort, house, amusement park or tropical getaway were the sort of toys that could keep us occupied for hours. Everything was miniature, everything opened up, and there was always another tiny detail to find.
Now, Polly Pocket is leaving the compact and landing around our necks, wrists and ears.
By Invite Only has teamed up with the iconic childhood brand for Pocketful of Summer, its first-ever Polly Pocket jewellery collection, launching on 17 September 2026.
And yes, this one is aimed directly at the nostalgia-loving millennial in me.
The collection takes Polly Pocket’s tropical holiday world and turns it into six jewellery pieces and 10 interchangeable charms. Think seashells, palm trees, pearls, stars and plenty of little details that will probably have anyone who grew up with those tiny compacts taking a second look.
The jewellery comes in 18k gold-plated and rhodium-plated eco brass, with pieces designed to be mixed, matched and customised with the charms.
My favourite detail? The Polly Pocket Shell Necklace (S$109).

Shaped like the brand’s famous clamshell compact, the pendant opens to reveal the words Original Homebody, with a blue cubic zirconia sitting in the centre. It is exactly the sort of tiny detail that feels like it was made for someone who remembers opening those compacts and immediately wanting to see what was inside.
Then there are the Polly Pocket Shelly Studs (S$69), pairing shell pearls with blue cubic zirconia, and the Gold Polly Pocket Starla Huggies (S$59), which add a little sparkle without screaming cartoon merchandise.

For something sweeter, the Polly Pocket Twin Hearts Charm Necklace (S$98) features two hearts on a chunky link chain, while the matching Twin Hearts Charm Bracelet (S$89) can be worn alone, stacked or loaded up with charms.

And there are plenty of those.
The 10-piece charm collection ranges from S$59 to S$69, with tiny palm trees, bows, starbursts, seashells, starfish and even a miniature Polly Pocket compact. The Palm Tree Charm (S$59) has cubic zirconia “coconuts”, while the Reversible Heart Charm (S$69) has a little surprise on the other side, revealing Polly Pocket’s initials when flipped over.

It is the kind of jewellery where the fun is in noticing the tiny things.
There is also the Polly Pocket Summer Bracelet (S$109), which mixes freshwater pearls, seashells, stars and blue-toned details for anyone who wants the full summer-holiday effect without having to book a flight.

The collection launches in Singapore on 17 September, with pieces priced from S$59 to S$109 and available online and in By Invite Only stores.
There is a little extra incentive too. Spend S$150, including at least one Polly Pocket jewellery piece, and you will receive a complimentary Silver Polly Pocket Starla Huggies, worth S$59, while stocks last. The offer applies to in-store purchases and online orders shipped to Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines.
I have to admit, collaborations like this work particularly well on millennials.
We are old enough to remember Polly Pocket as an actual toy rather than something from a nostalgic archive, but old enough now to buy the jewellery ourselves. That is quite the upgrade from begging Mum for another compact at the toy shop.
And perhaps that is why I find this collection so much fun.
It takes something many of us genuinely grew up with and gives it a place in our adult wardrobes without stripping away the little details that made Polly Pocket so memorable in the first place.
Now excuse me while I go and look for my old Polly Pockets.
